New at La Bella Vita

December 13, 2009

It’s been almost two weeks since we have last posted.  Boy, has this December been a whirlwind!  We know that many of you have been dutifully shopping for your gifts, but many others have been pushing the task off.  Fortunately, we receive new orders regularly, so there is always a fresh, interesting array from which to select presents.  New orders include:

— Aluminum, brass and acrylic jewelry from Christophe Poly.  His innovative, architectural designs are certain to please your recipient with their uniqueness.  Plus, they don’t tarnish!

— Contemporary and transitional wall decor, including several large mirrors with twigs, twine, and metal.  Perfect for the entryway, bathrooms, or anywhere that needs livening.

— Stearin candles from the Austrian Atelier.  These are hot, hot, hot!  We have already reordered several times in the last two months. They are vibrantly colored and strikingly patterned, and make great gifts.

Texas General soy candles are back in force!  We have a great selection of scents and are happy to ship your order.

We are always happy to gift wrap and consult on gifts.  Happy Holidays!

We’re heading into that last stretch before Christmas, and our remaining shipments of new goods are trickling in.  There are some amazing new silver earrings by two 47430-lrgdifferent designers, Laurel Jane and Reflections in Silver.  They’re pretty, go with just about everything, and are perfect last-minute gifts for the hard-to-buy-for recipient.

Other shipments include more candles from The Austrian Atelier and from Amabiente in lavender, aqua, silver grey, ivory, white, and red.  We also received a huge order from Texas General Store, with many new scents we haven’t had before plus some old favorites.  A few to tantalize you:  Sleeping on Snow, Snow Mint, Fiddle Fern, Sea Lavender, Twist & Spice, Vanille de Tahiti, Tiger  Lily, and Blue Apricot. Come on in before we sell out!

We now have two candles lines in our store that are made of stearin, and we are incredibly enthusiastic about this superior material.  We hope that once you read aboutaa4holder1 stearin’s benefits, you’ll share our ardor!

First of all, stearin is made from the palm fruit, so it is an entirely sustainable material!  It is also biodegradable as a result.  As far as its burning performance, stearin is slow-burning and long lasting.  It gives off little smoke, virtually no soot, and has no fragrance, making the candles the safest on the market for allergy and asthma sufferers.  To top it off, they are entirely dripless (even in a draft!) and burn with a beautiful crown around the flame.

The two lines we carry, Amabiente and The Austrian Atelier, exhibit exemplary design and invention in the way candles are formed.  Amabiente has incredibly stylish and contemporary tall square candles, 16″ high and 5/8″ in diameter.  Their square candles also fit into standard round holders, so you could use your favorite conventional holder.  The Austrian Atelier makes interesting tall candles that are thin and wide, creating dramatic visual impact.  They also sell an innovative large round candle with three different wicks, creating a beautiful effect.

You can purchase both Amabiente candles and The Austrian Atelier‘s candles online from our website.   Yesterday we received a shipment from The Austrian Atelier with additional colors and styles, perfect hostess or housewarming gifts!  Stop by to peruse & take advantage of our 20% off Food Panty Donation offer before it expires.
